The SCAGS MOD design channels that early-2000s skate era — raw, a little grimy, and full of life. Bryan’s first love was skateboarding, and that influence runs deep in his kendama journey. Having SCAGS and KROM printed across the tama was a deliberate choice — a nod to those classic BAKER skate deck graphics. It’s that same feeling as walking into a skate shop and snagging your favorite pro's board off the wall because maybe you saw yourself in that skater.

The name MAGNOLIA symbolizes bloom and rebirth — a reminder that every session is a chance to start fresh, progress, and grow. Lastly, and arguably most important, the goofy smileys on both the ken and tama. They are there to keep you grounded, a reminder that kendama isn’t life or death — it’s peace, it’s play, and it’s fun.
