Bright Intervals: On a day of heavy showers in 1958, BR(WR) 'Castle' class 4-6-0 No. 7027 'THORNBURY CASTLE' passes Leamington Spa (General) station with the down 'Cambrian Coast Express'. In the adjacent Leamington Spa (Avenue) station yard, ex-LNWR class 7F 0-8-0 No. 49395 marshals wagons prior to leaving with a freight train to the north.
